A Party Celebration to Commemorate the Diamond Jubilee & 20th Birthday Anniversary of Endike Community Care 2012

The Lord Mayor Danny Brown was one of our special guests. He mingled and chatted with members of the centre and enjoyed the buffet too. Leroy Vickers far left was our entertainment for the afternoon.

Travelling in style to Endike Community Care.

Just one of the Lord Mayors many appointments on this special day.

All in a days work...

A few snaps just before the arrival of members and guests! The final touches with flags and bunting are displayed outside creating a party mood and atmosphere for all to enjoy. Let the fun begin!

Gill from Admin far left and Liz one of our Senior Carers. We pulled out all stops to make this a magical event for Endike Community Care. Theres also a Video Diary to capture all the event.

Councillors Dean Kirk and Julia Conner chatted to member Dolly Smith during the party event. Dolly was really enjoying the day and the entertainment we put on too.

We had a full house along with double entertainment and everyone had a fabulous time. Each member recieved their very own personal invitation and a Jubilee Medal also engraved to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. These wonderful keepsakes are brilliant to mark this historic event. All members were delighted with them.

The main lounge area was decorated with bunting and balloons to mark this event. Every member of our team was involved in the preparation until it was completed. The final touches were worth every effort and the members said it was a magnificent display.

The party atmosphere unfolds as our members arrive. As you can see Alf Atkinson is clearly in party mood. His hat certainly goes with the Jubilee Theme.

Our hot and cold Buffet was fit for the Queen. There was everything from sandwiches, crisps, sausage rolls and much more. The hot chicken was tasty and the deserts were fantastic too. Yummy trifle and chocolate gateau is always popular and went down a treat. Not to mention the Punch which had to be replenished a few times. Everyone loved it.

And of course the cake to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee and Endike Community Cares 20th Birthday Anniversary 2012. It seemed a shame to cut but everyone recieved a piece to take home.
